I can imagine no greater privilege than walking alongside people during some of the most profound moments in their lives and wrestling with ultimate questions of meaning, as together we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. While I never imagined I would be a minister, apparently God did. When I question my call or worry that I am inadequate to the task, I remember that God calls whomever God chooses, often unlikely and always less than perfect people. Confident in God’s providence and assured of the promise of the Holy Spirit, I seek to follow Jesus Christ wherever he leads, inviting others to join us on the Way. I find this truly joyful work, made even more so by the support and love of my husband and three young adult children. My three-legged cat, Pangur, offers much encouragement as well.
