- January 4: Make A List: An Alternative to New Year’s Resolutions. Rev. Erin Bowers will share practical ways to foster personal growth in faith and love for the upcoming year.
- January 11: 2026, the Year of Being an Apprentice. Consider what a year could look like as we work beside Jesus, do what he does, and like what he likes. Chip Bristol leads, based upon the book Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer.
- January 18: The Tower of Babel: Look at the story though adult eyes using art, archeology, and current biblical studies. Led by Rev. Dr. Jerry Beavers.
- January 25: Strangers in a Foreign Land: Scripture, the Church, and Immigration, Led by Matt Bussell
Sing a hymn, share prayers, hear a speaker. These classes have a long history — YMBC has been meeting for 100+ years! Frequently led by Dr. Sandie Gravett, Professor of Religious Studies at ASU, these classes meet in Redhead Hall. Contact Al Lineberry.

December 28: Jill Duffield will give an update on the state of the church. Begins at 9 am because there is one worship service is at 10 am that day.
January 4: Dr. Sandie Gravett begins a new series, Christians Who Influenced America’s History. Look at Christian influence from early settlers to the present day, and explore the contributions of folks from all walks of life and numerous denominational branches in order to understand more fully the role of Christianity in American life.
If you are interested in in-depth scriptural study, this is your class. The Seekers focus on one topic for an extended time. Led by Gerard Davidson in Main 125.

Yoga for Healthy Aging
