Our Church
A caring A compassionate An inclusive
community of faith.
The heart of our campus is a beautiful sanctuary built almost a century ago by all kinds of craftsmen and artisans, but that’s not our church. Our church is 2,400 people who gather to worship, think, care, talk, advocate, serve, and pray.
We are part of the Reformed tradition and an active member of the Presbyterian Church USA, which seeks to celebrate differences, confront injustice, and live out our faith through action. Learn more. The PCUSA constitution includes the Book of Confessions, what the church believes, and the Book of Order, how we operate.

Our Vision & Mission

Come as you are, and together we will worship God in meaningful ways, join in service that transforms us and the world, learn our whole lives long, and be together in authentic relationships. Our vision & mission.
Our Story

Our church was founded in 1824 by a dozen souls led by minister William Paisley. We were the first chartered Presbyterian church in the newly formed City of Greensboro.
