I grew up in a Presbyterian church and have always felt at home within the church. As I have studied Scripture more, I have come to realize that faith is not primarily about believing a certain set of doctrines, but living out the teachings of Jesus by joining the work that God is doing in the world to bring about justice, peace, and love. I believe that the church is called to engage with the community and world to make a difference in people’s lives. When not at church, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, playing games, cooking, reading, and watching soccer.
