Welcome to our new home on the web!
This is the church’s front door, often the first experience for newcomers and anyone seeking a church family. We hope they will find it warm and welcoming as they see the fullness of First Pres.
This guide, designed for members, will help you find the things that members use most often. You can share feedback and ideas here.
Worship & Livestream
The livestream of the Sanctuary service remains on the home page, along with links to register your attendance, submit a prayer request, and participate in the offering. The bulletin is also linked.
You can also find this information by putting your cursor on Worship & Music in the navigation bar across the top of the home page (see image above) and choosing This Sunday from the list.
This Sunday is a new page with details on worship, Church School, and anything happening later in the day. Click on the button beside the livestream box on the home page.
People
Staff & their contact info
At the top of the home page is the navigation bar listing the major sections of the web site. Under About Us, choose Pastors & Staff. The next page has photos, phone numbers, and email forms for all staff. Click on a person’s photo to read their bio.
Member directory
Scroll to the bottom of any page and you will see a teal box called the footer. There is a list of links in the middle column. Click on FellowshipOne. Note: You must have an account to access the directory. The sign-in page has a link to create your account.
Leaders
From the top bar, go to Connect, slide down to Info for Members and click. On that page scroll down to Directories, Leaders & More.
Click Session in that row of boxes, and the text will appear under the boxes. It includes names of active elders as well as a link to the most recently approved meeting minutes.
Click Committee Leaders to see names of chairs and vice chairs of our committees for this year.
What’s Happening
Calendars
From the top navigation bar, go to Events. There you have four options.
- Calendar is the activity and event calendar.
- Event Highlights shows special events coming up.
- Sign-ups & Registrations has all the current sign-ups.
- Committees & Planning Calendar lists meetings and other administrative events.
Each ministry section of the site also includes its programs and events.
E-mails
The Monday e-news and the Sunday Preview go out weekly. If you are already receiving these emails, nothing has changed and you will continue to receive them. If you would like to get them, go to Connect in the top navigation bar and choose Subscribe to Emails. This will take you to the form.
Children’s Ministry sends a weekly email and uses a text app and Instagram. Go to Ministries in the top navigation bar and choose Children and Families. On that page scroll down to Parents and click on Get Connected.
Youth Ministry uses GroupMe text groups and Instagram. Go to Ministries in the navigation bar and choose Youth & Families. Then scroll down to Connect.
Our Media
Go to Connect in the navigation bar and choose Ways to Connect. Scroll down the page to Our Media for information about First Notes, our social media, and more.
Getting Involved
Volunteer in Outreach
From the navigation bar, go to Ministries and scroll down to Outreach. This page lists special events such as Neil’s Meals. For ongoing ministries such as Hot Dish & Hope, click Ongoing Ministries at the top of the Outreach page. For ways to get involved with the community groups we are involved in, click Ministry Partners.
Other Ministries
Every ministry has ways you can help, from ushering in worship to writing birthday notes to senior members, assisting in children’s groups to writing for First Notes to setting up for church meals. Think about where you would like to share your gifts and contact a staff member.
Small Groups
We are a community of believers. Building relationships with others is an important part of growing in your own faith. Look across the ministries to see what groups interest you and get in touch!
Share a photo or a story
We love to hear about your experiences in ministry! Send your anecdotes and/or photos to fpcnews@fpcgreensboro.org. If your phone asks what size photo, please choose Actual Size.
Spread the word
Sharing a link with a friend, coworker or neighbor is a great, low-key way to invite them to church. You can forward a link from the e-news or copy a web address from the top of any page on the site. And remember to share church posts you especially like on social media.
Giving
Go to Giving on the top navigation bar, then choose Together in Giving. On this page you can give online using your bank accounts or popular apps; make an annual commitment; learn about other ways to give; and learn about planning estate gifts.
Etc.
Info for Members
This is a very helpful page for members. In addition to the items mentioned above, it has our mission statement, the latest news such as what’s happening with the renovation, current openings, and the Child Protection Policy. It’s a good one to bookmark.

Clicking around the web site is the best way to see where things are. If you get lost or have a question, send it here.
Still looking?
You can search the site. At the top of each page is an image of a magnifying glass. Click on that and a box will appear on the left. Put a word or two about what you’re looking for in the box and hit the enter key on your keyboard.
