Nolan Chilton, Interim Director of Youth Ministry

I’ve always been drawn to the places where faith feels most alive ... in vans to Montreat, in noisy youth rooms, or during late-night talks where big questions finally find their voice. For me, those moments are sacred. They remind me that God’s presence often shows up in laughter, community, and in the courage of young people learning to trust that they are loved. My own journey was shaped by mentors who created space for that kind of discovery, and now I hope to do the same here at FPC. Youth ministry keeps me grounded in joy, hope, love, and belonging,  and it’s where I see the gospel lived out every day in real, tangible ways.
