Dear Families,
We have officially reached the end of the church school year (except for two more Sunday schools) and this will be the last weekly E-News until Fall. I will send periodic information and reminders over the summer.

- May 12 & 19 Sunday School – something different for kids & special class for parents/adults
- Tomorrow: Thursday, May 9 – Staying Safe Online class for parents (info presented by NC DOJ)
- VBS/KDC registration continues and we still need some volunteers!

This Sunday
Ages 3-first grade are invited to gather in the Welcome Center Children’s area at 10am for a special story time led my member, Jill Hare! They’ll have snack together as well and possibly go out to the labyrinth playground (weather permitting).
Second-Fifth graders are invited to CORL 306 at 10am where I’ll lead them in a spiritual practice & some games. We’ll have snack and join the others on the playground (weather permitting).
Parents & adults are invited to attend a special series in the Garden Room at 10am in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month. This Sunday’s session will be Body: Care for self and others experiencing challenges, extending grace & kindness, led by member Dr. Maddy Lowman;
Two worship services: 9am Rejoice & 11am Sanctuary. Nursery care available beginning at 8:45am.

Coming Up
- May 19 – Pentecost Sunday! Final Mental Health Sunday School Class (Soul: Promoting acceptance & compassion, language matters, decreasing stigma, seeking help, led by member Katie Rich.) We will have a congregational potluck lunch following the 11am worship service. Fried chicken provided – bring a side or dessert!
In June, two worship services continue and nursery care will be available. In July, we will have ONE worship service at 10am. Nursery care will still be open!
