For many years now my family has been supporting First Presbyterian Church since I was five years old When becoming a member in the year of 1989. In that time we have gotten to know several pastors that made a lasting impact on us that reached out in different areas in life. Both of my sisters Davis Elisabeth, Lee Walker and I were very involved in the youth program and made life long friends and mentors along the way. I personally saw that when becoming a elder in 2016 at age of 33 my sister Lee served as one of the very first youth intern yet we both learned from our mother Bet Vanderwerff who served as a elder the first term in 2001. We all served under Dolly we value her compassion, friendship and love to a church she has made a impact in her journey of 18 years. We send many prayers and wishes to Bill and the Jacobs family at this time of grief and thank them to give my family and others the opportunity to know this special lady
