What’s happening?

On February 14 we’re going to record a full Easter service that will be aired on ABC network affiliates across the country the week of Easter.

How did it come about?

The Interfaith Broadcasting Commission coordinates a program to air major church services. The IBC asked First Presbyterian to offer this year’s Easter service. The Worship Committee and Session agreed that this was an opportunity to share a message of God’s love and hope to a larger audience.

Why are we doing this in February?

The film must be recorded in advance  to allow pre-airing production by the IBC and ABC.

What do I need to do?

  1.  Pick out a spring outfit.
  2.  Attend the service at 11 am on Saturday, February 14.
  3.  Help us fill the sanctuary — remind FPC members in your small groups to come, and invite outside friends.
  4.  During the service, sing those hymns with enthusiasm!
