Headlines:
**REMINDER: Weather related cancellations and closings will be communicated by email, GroupMe, & Facebook (as well as church-wide communications). Join our Children’s Ministry GroupMe HERE and/or join our First Pres Parents Facebook group HERE. We are watching the weather for Friday-Sunday and a decision regarding Sunday morning will be made Saturday evening.
**Reminder: Registration for Passport Kids Camp (open to current 3rd-6th) & Middle School Conference (open to current 5th-7th) is due by January 31 with a 50% deposit. See separate emails for additional information and registration links.
**It’s time for Church Member Priority Registration in the Weekday Preschool Center for the 2025-2026 school year. FPC members will have priority to register Infants (2 months) through age 5 from January 15-19. The preschool operates Monday through Friday from 9-1, opening for early care at 8 and staying open for aftercare until 2. The preschool is state licensed and Nationally Accredited through NAEYC. This Sunday, January 12
Preschool-Elementary milestones continue at 10am!
- Preschool – Bible Superheroes – CORL 304
- Kindergarten & 1st – Beginner Bible- CORL 301 (this room has been repaired, so class will take place her for the remainder of the milestones series)
- Second Grade – Communion Education – CORL 300 *Parents are encouraged to attend and bring a memento from your child’s baptism or your own!
- Third Grade – Worship Education – CORL 303
- Fourth Grade – Bible Skills – MLC 101 (this is at the bottom of the Life Center stairs beside the nursery) –
- Fifth Grade – Catechism Education – CORL 306
Faithful Families class for parents of all ages & stages has begun a new series studying the book, Thrivers by Michele Borba, in Memorial 304. Phae Smith leads this Sunday – chapter 2. Please feel free to attend even if you have not read the book! Books available in the Welcome Center.
Nursery care will be available form 8:45 through the morning. Please welcome some new faces in the nursery! Jade Meekins is a student at UNCG and works as a floater in our own Weekday Preschool! She will be assisted by a caregiver from Nanny by Design.

- March 2 – Milestones conclude, Faithful Families meets – ONE WORSHIP SERVICE AT 11AM FOR CONFIRMATION SUNDAY; KDC meets 3-4:30
- March 9 – Family Sunday school as Lent begins; Preschool bible presentation for “rising” three year olds (more info to come!)
- March 16, 23, 30, April 6 – Regular Sunday School for Preschool, K-2nd, 3rd-5th
- March 15 -Parents’ Night Out! Registration will be out in February.
- April 6 – KDC meets 3-4:30pm
