More than a decade ago FPC partnered with Greensboro Urban Ministry to provide a place to sleep and a meal to eat on cold nights. Because of great need in our community we will again serve as an overnight Winter Emergency Shelter this year. Urban Ministry will qualify and assign 15 unhoused men to our shelter, and will provide a staff person overnight.
We will be starting soon, so we need volunteers ASAP! Please choose an area and one (or more) dates. Also please donate basic toiletries, list below.
Winter Shelter map available here. There is also a FAQ for common questions here.
