I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We are rolling full steam into Advent and there is A LOT happening! Please read and mark your calendars so you don’t miss out!!
Important notes:
- We still have about 30 Faith Action International Children who need a sponsor for Christmas! CLICK HERE to read instructions and sign up if you are able.
- LAST CALL for Kindergarten, First Grade, & Fifth grade Christmas Eve Participants. CLICK HERE for details or to sign up.
- Backpack Beginnings has let us know that they are in DIRE need of winter coats for children of all sizes. If you have gently used coats that could use a new home, you may bring them to my office during the week, to church on Sunday, or take them directly to BPB!
- Passport Kids Camp registration is open for 3rd-5th graders and initial registration/deposit is due by January 31! CLICK HERE for more information and CLICK HERE to register.

This Sunday, December 3
Advent Wreaths and Gingerbread Church!!
Families are invited to gather in the back of the Life Center beginning at 10am. We’ll make Advent wreaths for you to take home and decorate the gingerbread church – two of our favorite Advent Traditions! **Parents should attend with your children – this is not a drop off event. 😉
Worship at 9am Rejoice & 11am Sanctuary. Nursery care available beginning at 8:45am.
In the afternoon . . . KDC Christmas Party for 3rd-5th graders!!

Coming Up
Next Sunday, December 10:
- Journey to the Manger! We’ll meet in the back of the Life Center at 10am and travel through the church as we read scripture and collect our giant nativity scene.
- Worship at 9am Rejoice & 11am Sanctuary; Nursery Care Available
December 17:
- Pj’s, movie, & CHRISMONS! Oh, My! – Children in preschool-5th grade are invited to come to church in their pajamas (optional!)They can either come to the theater in CORL 305 for a Christmas movie OR head to CORL 306 where Debbie West will share a little about the meaning of Chrismon Ornaments and their symbols. Materials will be provided for children to make some Chrismons to take home.
- In the evening, nursery care will be available beginning at 4:30pm for ages 7 & under during the service of Lessons & Carols. Service begins at 5pm with a handbell prelude at 4:30. If you know your child(ren) will be using the nursery during this service, an RSVP would be helpful, but is not required.
Sunday, December 24:
Our family Christmas Eve Nativity service will take place in the sanctuary at 10am. (This will be the only morning worship service that day.) Communion & Candlelight services will be offered in the sanctuary at 5:30 & 11pm.
**No nursery care will be provided during Christmas Eve services. Children of all ages are welcome in the sanctuary and special worship bags will be provided.

Other Notes and Info
**Preschool & Elementary Milestones will begin on January 7th!!
More Info to come, but milestones will meet on January 7, 21, February 4, 11, 18, 25, and March 3. I will be sending grade level letter with more specific information later this week!
