Prepare for Easter: Make Your Own Resurrection Eggs for your at-home Easter egg hunt.

PC(USA) Easter Egg Hunt: One of our beloved FPC  traditions is our Annual Family Egg Hunt. This year our tradition will continue via social media and will also include PC(USA) churches across the mid-Atlantic! The Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday afternoon, April 12. Here’s how to participate:

  1.  Read the Easter story from your Children’s Bible Storybook and talk about what Easter means to you. Write your response in a few words and phrases.
  2. Take a picture of an Easter egg/s from your house. For security purposes please do not include faces of your children in the photo.
  3. Add the text of what Easter means to you to your photo and include the hashtags #onebasket2020 and #fpcgso.
  4. By Saturday morning, post your photo on Instagram and/or Facebook — tag FPC’s accounts too!
  5. Join other families and churches on Saturday or Sunday to hunt for the eggs on social media by using the hashtag. See how many you can find from our church and others in our region!.
  6. Take pictures or video of your family hunting for eggs and email it to us  or post it. Happy Easter!
