Why give to the church?

We give of our financial resources to the church first and foremost to honor God. As disciples of Christ we have been invited to participate in God’s transforming work in the world. That work begins in us as we continually grow into the generous and loving image of Christ. We don’t give out of obligation. Rather, we give out of gratitude for the multitude of blessings we have received and out of joy for the privilege of being generous as God has been generous to us.
